The Dan-inject dart gun
system worked beautifully. The
gun shot straight and the dart
hit soft and delivered the
immobilizing drug completely.
The jaguar didn't even flinch
when I shot her with the dart.
I like the fact that it is
snowing, shows that the
darts work well in freezing
temps as well.

The Dan-Inject rifle is used to
immobilize small animals,
particularly lemurs in the
forest canopy, and is critical
because it allows the force to
be changed based upon the
vertical position of the animal.
Despite the extreme temperatures (sometimes down to - 25
degrees F) everything worked perfectly. The only curve ball
was that the sedatives would freeze in the dart if left
unheated. A few well placed handwarmers solved that issue.
Thank you many times over for getting it to us. It really
made a difference.
